For some reason, either they are extremely easy to breed or good luck, my minnows are reproducing at an amazing rate. The great majority of my minnows are flatheads, the golden variation known in the pet trade as rosy reds.however, last November, I also added several shiners. I think they were golden shiners. What to do surplus?

I wanted to introduce a group devoted to the preservation and use of the fish and veggies we produce in our AP. systems. I was thinking in terms of hints/tricks for anything from processing fish to freezing, dehydrating, salting, smoking, canning, pickling.....and the list goes on.

"When you tested the irrigation water before adding it to your system what did the numbers say? Testing your source water before hand is always a good idea so that you have a baseline to work from."
